Immunzation Advocacy
Change begins with making our local government aware of the need for stronger child immunization laws in Minnesota.
1. Contact the pediatrician work group and get involved
2. Join Local Groups, like Minnesota Childhood Immunization Coalition.
3. Contact your legislators directly.

Several Immunization Advocacy Groups and Lower income grants need your donations to continue supporting under-vaccinated children and communities. Consider Donating!
- MnVAC offers free or low-cost vaccines for eligible children age 18 years and younger
Other Initiatives
The most established organization that is physician based is the Minnesota Chapter of American Academy of Pediatricians. One of their main initiatives is child Immunization within the state. Their work page has comprehensive action pieces and education pieces on the importance of our local immunization.
Guatemalan Action
Guatemala has fewer national programs that support child vaccination (not having to do with COVID-19). Therefore most support of overall vaccination is through the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF). But consider learning more about their specific rural distribution issues and donating doses to vaccinate children in needing regions: including Guatemala.
